Pottery Painting: Pumpkin Mug

Enjoy a relaxing evening of painting with us while we travel to visit our friends at Elicit Brewing Company in Manchester.

We're using specialty pottery glaze to recreate this pumpkin mug, which is sure to be your new favorite cup to drink out of this Fall season. Follow along with step-by-step instructions to create something like our sample! Mugs will be safe to drink out of post-firing.

What to expect:

• a relaxing and beginner-friendly class, great for hanging out, chatting, and enjoying some great local cider or beer
• an art project with simple, guided instruction, and lots of room for creativity
• professional staff instruction

What you get:

• one mug to paint
• painting, glazing, and firing in our kiln is included
• all materials are included

Notes:

• pottery takes around a week to fire and will be available for pickup at The Firestone Art Studio + Cafe in Manchester, CT - we will get your phone number during the event and contact you when it is ready
• pottery paint does not stain, but The Firestone does not provide aprons, so we recommend wearing clothes you do not mind getting messy
• pre-registration is required
