Our Manchester venue is excited to host the next installment of Pints and Pages, our monthly book club designed for readers who love great stories and even better company. This February, we are diving into the world of professional hockey and high stakes romance as we discuss the USA Today bestseller Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow book lovers in the community and share your thoughts on the novel that NPRs Weekend Edition called the book that got me into hockey romance. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, providing a great space for literary discussion and social connection in the heart of Manchester.
The atmosphere for our book club is casual and engaging, held in the exclusive Brewers Loft located upstairs at our 165 Adams Street location. This semi private space offers the perfect setting for a focused yet social discussion away from the main hustle of the brewery. The session runs from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to grab a drink and settle in before we start breaking down the chapters. Whether you are a regular member of a book club or this is your very first time joining a group discussion, you will find a supportive environment where every perspective is valued. As a special bonus for our readers, you can get ten percent off book club picks at River Bend Bookshop to prepare for the meeting.
A literary discussion is always better when paired with a fresh pour from our bar and a high quality meal from our kitchen. While we talk through the heated rivalry of the main characters, you can explore our full selection of house brewed craft beers and creative cocktails. Our kitchen is serving up fresh dishes that are perfect for a Friday evening social. We suggest trying the Hot Honey Crunch Cauliflower featuring a panko breading or the Philly Egg Rolls served with chipotle aioli. If you are looking for a solo meal to enjoy during the talk, the All American Smash Burger with american cheese and secret sauce is a total classic. For those who want to finish their evening on a sweet note, our Cinnamon Sugar Donuts are the perfect treat.
This event takes place on Friday, February 27th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Elicit Brewing Manchester. The Pints and Pages book club meets upstairs in the Brewers Loft and is free for everyone to attend. No tickets or cover charges are required to join the discussion, though we recommend arriving a few minutes early to secure your seat and order your food and drinks. Be sure to stop by River Bend Bookshop ahead of time to grab your copy of Heated Rivalry at a discount. Whether you finished the book in one sitting or are just starting the first chapter, we look forward to seeing the community come together for a night of great books and craft beer!
