Our Danbury venue is excited to transform our creative space into a calligraphy studio as we host Sip and Script for a Modern Calligraphy for Beginners workshop. This session is designed for stationery lovers, DIY brides, and anyone with a passion for handcrafted arts who wants to learn the fundamentals of pointed dip pen lettering. You will be introduced to the essential techniques of ink flow and pressure to create those beautiful lettered details that elevate wedding paper goods, home decor, and personal mail. It is a fantastic opportunity to gather with the local Danbury community of creators and spend a productive afternoon developing a new artistic skill in a professional and supportive setting.

The atmosphere for this workshop is relaxed, social, and focused on creative growth. Whether you are a total novice or looking for a refresher on your technique, the class provides 1.5 hours of hands on instruction and live demonstrations. Your ticket includes a comprehensive beginners calligraphy kit featuring two nibs, a black ink pot, letter guides, tracing paper, and a straight pen holder all of which are yours to keep for continued practice at home. We welcome left handed participants and encourage everyone to build muscle memory while developing their own unique lettering style. The session begins promptly at 2:00 PM at 15 Backus Avenue, providing a beautiful backdrop for an afternoon of artistry and connection.
