Friendsgiving Cookie Decorating Class

Spend Sunday afternoon celebrating the season during a hands-on Friendsgiving Cookie Decorating Class on November 15 from 1 to 3 PM.

This beginner-friendly workshop features a cozy seasonal cookie set with easy shapes, warm neutral colors and a relaxed holiday feel. Guests will decorate six sugar cookies using dye-free royal icing while following step-by-step instruction throughout the class.

You will learn how to outline and flood cookies, achieve the proper icing consistency, create detailed decorations, combine colors and add finishing touches. No previous cookie decorating experience is required. The class is designed to teach useful skills while remaining relaxed, approachable and enjoyable.

Each $69 ticket includes six themed sugar cookies, four dye-free royal icing colors, a practice piping sheet, printed step-by-step reference guide, royal icing recipe, take-home box and decorating tools for use during the class. Colors may vary slightly because of the natural dye-free palette and seasonal design updates.

Come on your own or bring a friend for a creative Friendsgiving afternoon. Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the event.

Refunds are available until five days before the class. No-shows are nonrefundable. Cookies are prepared in a home kitchen under Connecticut’s Cottage Food Law and may contain or come into contact with common allergens.

Photos may be taken during the class for social media. Guests who prefer not to be photographed should notify the instructor before class begins. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Any weather or venue-related changes will be communicated by email and shared on social media. Seating is limited to keep the class small and relaxed.
